Christy Yohannes PA-C

Christy Yohannes, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant dedicated to providing patient-centered care in women’s health. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, she earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Alabama before completing her physician assistant training at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She is proud to serve patients
throughout the Chicagoland area.

Christy is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients and creating an environment where individuals feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in their care. Known for her thorough and approachable style, she believes that patient education is one of the most powerful tools for improving health outcomes and empowering women to better understand their bodies.

Her professional interests include preventive gynecologic care, contraception counseling, and supporting women through every stage of life. She also has a strong interest in mental health and recognizes the important connection between emotional well-being and overall health. As the daughter of immigrants, Christy values cultural awareness and strives to provide compassionate, inclusive care to patients from all backgrounds.

Christy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the Illinois Academy of Physician Associates, and the Association of Physician Associates in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Outside of the office, Christy enjoys exploring Chicago, painting, catching a good movie, and spending time with her two cats.
