We invite you to take a moment to learn more about the highly skilled team of physicians at Women’s HealthFirst. All of our physicians are board-certified by ACOG or ACOOG.

Cecilia Chui, DO, FACOOG
Dr. Cecilia Chui is a board-certified OB-GYN, and a fellow of American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 2012. She received her bachelor of science in clinical laboratory science from State University of New York at Stony Brook in New York. She completed her medical school training at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University and her residency training at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York. Dr. Chui enjoys providing care to women from puberty through menopause. She also takes particular interest in providing obstetrical services to women undergoing pregnancy, routine or high-risk. Dr. Chui routinely performs gynecological surgeries as well as in-office procedures. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and dog. Videos:

Papa W. de la Cruz, MD, FACOG
Dr de la cruz is a board certified ob-gyne and a fellow of the American College of obstetrics and gynecologist. She grew up in Park Ridge and went to high school at Maine South , then Loyola University where she graduated with a magma cum laude, then Rush Medical College and finally University of Illinois at Chicago for residency and received award for Excellence in sls outstanding laparoscopic resident surgeon. She has remained a local girl of chicago. Since graduating residency, she has been with Women’s Healthfirst since 2003. She excels in robotic assisted gynecologic surgery and is skilled at providing obstetric care for all high risk patients: Dr de la cruz remains alert to the latest advancements in the field of ob-gyne, bringing these approaches and technologies to the practice. She is committed to improve the health and well being of the local community she serves a passion for medical missions. In her free time she loves spending time with her two kids, as well as her four dogs and six chickens. And is an avid traveler and a great cook. Videos:

Natasha Harvey, MD, FACOG


Dr. Natasha Harvey is a board-certified OB-GYN. She received her undergraduate degree in applied math from Northwestern University and her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Harvey completed her OB-GYN residency at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Chicago. She currently serves on the Quality Committee at Northwest Community Hospital and previously served on the Robotic Committee and OB Steering Committee at St Alexius Medical Center.

Dr. Harvey’s special interests include gynecological and robotic-assisted surgery, high-risk obstetrics, working with teenagers, and seeing her patients through all phases of their OB-GYN care and treatment. She is dedicated to patient education and going above and beyond for those she serves. Dr. Harvey is actively involved in her church’s medical ministry, providing volunteer services to the community. When she’s not working, Dr. Harvey enjoys traveling, working out – including online Zumba classes – and spending time with her two young nephews.

Anita Iyer, MD, FACOG

Dr. Anita Iyer is a board-certified OB-GYN and fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Growing up in Cleveland, she attended Case Western Reserve University for her undergraduate studies and medical school. She continued her medical training, attending the Detroit Medical Center/Hutzel Hospital residency program, where she became interested in high-risk obstetrics and advanced gynecologic procedures.

After completing her residency training, Dr. Iyer has been practicing medicine in suburban Chicago, where she enjoys providing OB-GYN care for women of all ages. She has a vibrant personality and enjoys forming bonds with her patients. Dr. Iyer remains up-to-date on the most current advances in gynecology and high-risk pregnancies. She is committed to women’s health and serving her community the best way she can. When she’s not working, Dr. Iyer loves spending time with her family, shopping, traveling, and keeping up with current events.

Elizabeth Mlynarczyk, MD, FACOG

Dr. Elizabeth Mlynarczyk is a board-certified OB-GYN and fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago and Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Mlynarczyk completed her residency at Loyola University of Chicago and Grand Rapids Medical Education & Research Center at Michigan State University. She has been in private practice since 2009.

Dr. Mlynarczyk’s areas of special interest include high-risk pregnancies, abnormal pap smears, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis, vaginal/vulvar skin disorders, and preventive exams. She also specializes in many procedures, including colposcopy, IUD insertions, hysteroscopy with polyp and fibroid removal, endometrial ablation, as well as laparoscopic and robotic-assisted hysterectomies, removal of ovaries, ovarian cysts, and endometrial lesions.

Dr. Mlynarczyk enjoys getting to know her patients and having the privilege of taking care of them throughout their lives. She is also fluent in Polish and speaks conversational Spanish.

Erwin Szela, MD, FACOG, MIGS, MBA

Dr. Erwin Szela is a board-certified OB-GYN and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Born in Chicago Heights, Illinois, Dr. Szela has spent most of his life in the Chicago area. He received his bachelor of science in mathematical engineering from Northwestern and an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern. He completed medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago followed by residency training at Northwestern University/Prentice Woman’s Hospital, where he was promoted to chief resident.

He has extensive training in minimally invasive surgical techniques, such as laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures. Dr. Szela has performed more than 1,000 advanced robotic-assisted surgeries. He enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology, including women’s wellness, high-risk obstetrics, infertility, and surgery.

For more than 30 years, Dr. Szela has been committed to accessible and affordable healthcare for women. He has been on multiple medical missions to the Dominican Republic and Ghana, West Africa. Dr. Szela has been providing care through federally qualified health centers (FQHC) for more than 14 years. He is a past president of the Northwest Suburban Independent Physicians Association and was instrumental in creating the clinically integrated network with AMITA.

When Dr. Szela isn’t at work, he loves spending time with his wife of 34 years and his family.

Crystal Wadyal, MD, FACOG
Dr. Crystal Wadyal is a board-certified OB-GYN and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is well-regarded by her patients and peers, and in 2021 and 2022, she was named a “Top Doctor” by Chicago Magazine, as well as being recognized in the “Exceptional Women in Medicine” issue of Chicago Magazine in May 2021. She was also named “Top Doctor” in SB magazine in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Dr. Wadyal is passionate about women's health and wellness, and treats women of all ages, from adolescents throughout those in their child-bearing years, as well as those transitioning to menopause and beyond. She offers routine and high-risk obstetrical care along with a variety of cutting-edge medical and surgical solutions to gynecological problems, such as heavy menstrual bleeding, fibroids, infertility, PCOS, and endometriosis. Dr. Wadyal completed her internship and residency training at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she received extensive training in minimally invasive gynecological surgery techniques. She is particularly skilled in vaginal hysterectomy, a procedure that removes the uterus but leaves no scars on the skin and allows a rapid recovery. She is also very active in her community and dedicates her time in support of philanthropic AMITA Health foundations. Dr. Wadyal lives in Barrington with her husband and three daughters. When not practicing medicine, she enjoys cycling, gardening, and baking with her family. Videos:

Sidra Khan, MD, FACOG

Dr. Sidra Khan is a board-certified OB-GYN and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 2022. She received her bachelor of science in chemical-biological engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She attended medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed her residency training at Riverside Methodist Hospital (OhioHealth) in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Khan has been providing high quality, patient-centered care in the Chicago suburbs since 2018. Her special interests include fertility counseling and treatment, routine and high-risk obstetrical care, and management of gynecologic concerns of teenagers and young adults.

When she is not working, Dr. Khan enjoys baseball, reading, and spending time with her family.
